While experimenting with essential-oil blends in its Waterloo kitchen, Shivi Perfumery discovered how powerful scent can be at unlocking memories—and forging new ones. What began as a personal hobby quickly ignited a passion to share bespoke fragrances with others.
First Custom Blends
Word spread among friends and family, and soon Shivi Perfumery was hosting small “blend-your-own-perfume” gatherings. Each session yielded unique scent stories—and the seed of our perfumery was planted.
Official Launch
Shivi Perfumery went live with a curated suite of signature accords, all crafted from premium ingredients. Guests could book one-on-one blending workshops, exploring top notes, heart notes, and base notes to design a truly personal fragrance.
Waterloo Studio Debut
With growing demand, we opened our first dedicated perfumery studio in downtown Waterloo. The bright, airy space—lined with gleaming amber bottles—became a local haven for scent discovery and creative self-expression.
Community & Collaboration
As our community grew, Shivi Perfumery began partnering with local artisans—pouring small-batch candles, body mists, and scent-infused stationery—to round out the full Shivi lifestyle experience.
Fragrance of the Month Series
We introduced a “Fragrance of the Month” series—each blend inspired by seasonal moods and member suggestions, offering fresh experiences and exclusive small-batch creations.
New Website & Booking
Our new online home now makes it easier than ever to book private blending sessions. While our full Collection line is “Coming Soon,” you can reserve your personalized experience with just a few clicks.
